My name is Olivia Read, and I am one of the many fantastic students at Wantirna's Swinburne University of Technology campus. This year's business Cert 2, 3 class are running a fundraiser on the 14th of August 2024, to raise money for Challenge. 

Challenge is a not-for-profit organisation that supports children and families living with cancer, 365 days a year.  Their support is free and immediate, helping to lighten the cancer journey by addressing the practical, social, and emotional needs of all its members.

Following a child’s diagnosis, life changes significantly. Families begin a journey of uncharted territory, where they learn to adapt to a ‘new normal’ of life with cancer. Adjusting to these changes is difficult and takes its toll on every member of the family – patient, parent, and sibling(s).

This is where Challenge steps in. Sometimes you do not know what it is you need until someone shows you.

Our event will run from 9:30-3pm at Swinburne university of technology (just off stud road, Wantirna).

we have plenty of stalls running, there will be plenty of food, a raffle with prizes to be won and the vibes will be high. please pop in to help us support these amazing people at challenge.
