Tackling Childhood Cancer

As part of a long-standing partnership, the Essendon Football Club marked its eighth annual Tackling Childhood Cancer game in support of Challenge families living with cancer. 22 Challenge kids had their dreams come true when they ran onto the ground hand-in-hand with their AFL superheroes.

This year's Tackling Childhood Cancer match took place in Round 9 when the Dons took on The Giants.

This is a unique opportunity for our kids and their families to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience and raise vital funds and awareness.

Since 2017, the Bombers have committed to one game each season to help bring awareness to childhood cancer. Challenge is truly honoured for the Essendon Football Club's continual support and strong relationship.
