Challenge provides children, siblings, and families with experiences such as camps, family activities and art and music therapy. Challenge also provides much-needed in-hospital support, parental retreats, and financial assistance.

Even though I never directly spoke to Taz, hearing the news left me in shock. The closest interaction I had with Taz was sharing the same songwriting class as him. From what I knew about Taz during those short moments of admiring him from a distance in that class - he seemed like a passionate and inspiring person by how open and honest he was about his opinions, while standing his ground about his philosophies around songwriting which came directly from his heart. Which is a quality that I respect immensely. His tragic passing has made me hold my loved ones even closer than before, as I’ll never know when a loved one of mine will one day leave abruptly without saying goodbye. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and closest friends who loved and cherished him with every ounce of their being. R.I.P Taz.
